Commit to Yourself: It’s a Challenge!

So Thursday’s on the GETFIERCE page are all about challenging ourselves. These challenges are meant to build ourselves up, to feel good, to be strong and to grow! This week’s is all about testing our determination and our commitment to ourselves.

The Week 4 (3 Week) Challenge

I want you to think about a physical goal you have for yourself; a weight you want to be, a race you want to run, a number of pushups you want to do, it can be anything. Here’s the challenge, go there, get it, do it. Set your vision, your intention and then set a daily goal for yourself. The goal should increase over the next 3 weeks (i.e. start with 10 push ups a day and in week 3 50!) Do IT (whatever your IT is) EVERY day for the next 21 days! This challenge will get you closer to your goal and Commit to YOU!

My Experience

Now’s the time to put up or shut up! I’m in the game right now. I started a 21 day cleanse (per my doctor’s instructions) today. Now it’s gonna be a challenge, but I’ve committed to me and now I’m committing to you that I will stay strong, I CAN do this! I will fill you in on how it’s going. I have my vision for myself, to be strong, lean, to let go of the old crap (literally and figuratively) that has held me back before. NOW is the time for success.

Check Yo’Self

I want you (I’m in too) for the next 3 weeks to talk yourself into this game. You’re getting stronger, better and more committed each day. I have 3 ‘appointments’ in my calendar throughout the day that say, “I CAN DO THIS” (in all caps), so I remember what I’m doing and not to get distracted from all the other ‘real’ appointments in my life that sometimes keep me from going for what I really want. It Helps!

FIERCENESS

Like I always say, it’s NOT just about our bods, or our jobs, or our relationships, our financial circumstance…it’s a confidence in it ALL! Staying Committed to your dreams is a gift you’re giving to yourself, not a punishment. Not having the cookie or going to the gym or to bed early is building that muscle, it’s you telling yourself that you’re worth WAY more than whatever is your proverbial cookie.
