I just read my daily inspiration from The Chopra Center. It was all about the Law of Karma. First of all, I find it ‘funny’ that it’s called a ‘Law’. In Western schools we learn about the Law of Gravity and Boyle’s Law (among many others I’ve long forgotten), but we learn that laws are measurable and can be defined without argument. So how does Karmic Law work? Can it really be measured by anyone other than by the perception of the giver? Perhaps this is why it was never taught in our Western schools.
Growing up I always felt that there was something missing. I saw myself as separate from the world and not as an integral part of it. This is what I’ve come, as an adult, to learn was ‘missing’ for me, the awareness that I am that we ALL are a part of this GREAT Universe. Knowing that every thought we think and action we take has an effect on not only ourselves but the world around us is HUGE! So, with that being said. OF COURSE Karma is a Law. The law speaks to what we look for in others, in the world, in ourselves we will find. If we set out worried, scared, fearful then how can we set ourselves up for success? I’ll answer, we can’t. The sure way to follow this karmic law is to put out the feelings, take the actions, see the outcomes that we’re striving for.
What You Give Is What You Get
So the Law of Karma states that every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind (like a boomerang). What we sow is what we reap. And when we choose actions that bring happiness and success to others, the fruit of our karma is happiness and success.
Focus on what you want more of in your life and then BE that. If you want a loving relationship be more loving, if you want more money give more away whatever you’re going for in this life be it fully, think it, act it, say it, let that feeling of love, abundance, peace flourish within you.
Here’s to waking up our Western culture, My Fierce Friends!
So much love to you ALL!
I can see YOU GETTING (whatever it is you want!)
