This week’s challenge is super simple. It’s an exercise that we ALL, despite how many times we choose to exercise that knowledge, know how to do. Turn the corners of your mouth up. It’s called a SMILE!
It REALLY Works!
Today I was boarding a train that was beyond packed with people I smiled at a man who looked extra cranky. The man didn’t say anything and he didn’t smile back, but he did make a space for me. It made me feel really good on the inside. I’ve kept doing it all day, smiling at randoms. I’m not expecting a smile in return, although a lot of people have been smiling back. Smiling has made my day so much better and it all started with me.
Week 16: GET HAPPY
It’s easy, just put a smile on your face! You can be the change without starving yourself like Gandhi. It starts with the little things like kindness, smiling at others. Really, you never know what might happen, give it a shot.
