I have EIGHT more days to post 8 more ways that I’m continuing my quest to live my FIERCEST LIFE. I’ve been telling you (over and over again) that I plan on being 105 years old! I don’t wanna be a decrepit old person in a wheelchair drooling on myself…I wanna be FIERCE. I wanna be the great granny that the kids can’t wait to hang out with. Telling stories (new ones) each time they come over about the “old days” when you had to get up to change the channel on the TV and when people didn’t have cell phones or computers or the internet! I’m committing to ELEVEN “things” that I’m adding (or putting back in) to my daily life that, I feel, make ME a better person. I’m sharing one with YOU each day before my 35th birthday next Friday. - HEALTH: I do loads of crazy cardio all week long. There are so many physical benefits to yoga not only for me, but for everyone. Yoga lengthens us, allows us to think about our bodies challenging our balance all while making us stronger. It allows us to twist and move in ways that we don’t normally and for me it works.
- LOVE: I totally love me some yoga! I use the excuse that I don’t have enough time…I do. I get lazy…yup, I said it! I’m lazy. I teach 20 classes a week and I use the excuse that I don’t want to do more even though it really does bring me joy. I went to a FAB class today around the corner from my house at YOGA VIDA and was so happy after class. It’s gonna be my new spot! I’ve never had a regular practice that wasn’t at a gym (okay, I’ve never really had a real regular yoga practice at all, but my luke warm practice was at the gym). I’m pumped to be a studio goer.
- PEACE: I’m so YANG all the time with all the cycling and strength classes I need to add a little balance to my life. Yoga also helps me to calm my mind and focus on the bigger picture.
