I’m SO excited to announce my partnership for a special event to kick off the new year! On Saturday, January 9th from 10AM-2PM we will be ENERGIZE. MOVE. BREATHE. -ing at the Gibney Center in NYC! You will learn how to energize your body and life with your own internal strength through Kell’s work. I will lead you through a body weight workout that will make you realize you’re all you need and have all the strength you need within you. I will follow it with a meditation accompanied by sounds of Tibetan singing bowls. To bring us “home”, Kathleen will lead an amazing breath work session allowing us to find peace and healing with our own tools. We always remember that we have all we need within us at all times, we just need to call it up.
I love my life and my goal is to share all that I do with YOU. I know that you may be like, breath work, what?! Trust me, I would only bring the best to you and I want you to be able to jumpstart 2016 with setting YOUR intentions on what you want to create. No resolutions, but rather intentionally shifting your focus on getting all you desire.
You don’t see it very much on social media, but I’m what you may call a modern day “hippy”. I don’t often define myself in a word, but this one I’m proud to call mine. What I formerly thought of as weird, bizarre, even crazy I now practice. I meditate daily, I get acupuncture on the reg, I have not one but two energy practitioners, I do yoga, I take Chinese herbs, I’m a certified Tibetan Singing Bowl practitioner and I’m sure there are loads of other “wacky” things I do that you’d think, “YOU do that?”
HOW WE CAME TO BE
It all started at SOUL CAMP this past summer. Kell, Kathleen and I were all bunkmates in one of the instructor cabins. It was a magical crew of MY PEOPLE sharing our gifts with one another. We came back to New York City and stayed in close contact. I began taking Kathleen’s breathwork class and continued to work with Kell on my energy. After one of Kathleen’s Monday night classes we thought up this GREAT idea to combine our crafts to kick off the New Year for YOU.
I move every single day. I know how important it is to get your body into action. I also know that no matter how fit I got in the past I still felt like a fat kid. I was missing something and until I brought in a variety of modalities to create a healthy mind I was unable to find the love I had been searching for…the love for mySELF.
To be whole and complete we need to live holistically. Moving alone will not complete a person, we need yin to the yang and we need to create our own peace through a multitude of methods. I know what has worked for me in my own life and my life’s work is to share that with you.
