MY MOST FAVORITE QUESTION
Training for this bikini contest has people asking me SO many crazy questions and I love every single one. I’m more than happy to answer any and all inquiries. Recently I was with a friend who was introducing me and said, “This is my teacher, she’s a body builder!” I giggled because I’ve never really used that terminology for my training. Then I began to think about it and I realized, “YES! I AM a bodybuilder!” And so is every single person on this earth.
I choose to lift heavy weights to build muscle and to get stronger every day. I meditate daily to remember who I am and where I came from, to keep calm. I do hot yoga to stay flexible and open. And cardio, well, that’s my life. I have to get my own heart pumping (weight training does that too), but cardio is what gives me life through music and sweating with you.
WHAT’S IMPORTANT TO YOU?
You’re a body builder too! We are all growing everyday, but how is what we each determine. Are you becoming better, stronger, fitter, faster? What is YOUR focus? I believe that we should each be outstanding at what we love. YOU don’t need to get on stage to flex. You can be an author, an actor, a teacher a lawyer, that’s your call. I do believe that with a strong healthy body our passions are better served and if we’re lucky we’ll live a little bit longer and stronger to do what we love.

MEDITATE WITH ME
Fridays in 2017 I’ll be hosting small group (6 person) 60 minute Tibetan Healing Bowls meditation. This is a tradition that is thousands of years old that allows sound and vibration to flow through your body allowing restoreation to the body’s natural state of peace and ease. All you need to do is lay and be, the bowls will do the rest.

Please wear loose fitting clothing with no buttons or zippers. Make sure to drink water throughout the day in preparation.
